Cuphead is a classic platform game with boss battles as its main element. The main source of inspiration for the developers were the cartoons of the 1930s. Authentic techniques such as celluloid animation and watercolor backgrounds were used in the process of creating the game, and original jazz compositions were specially recorded as sound accompaniment.
